Special Inversions Master Class

Friday July 13; 6:00-8:00pm. In this master class, we will explore advanced poses and transitions that you won’t see in your everyday vinyasa class: handstands, forearm-stands, press-ups, hollow-backs, floating, flying, etc. A strong yoga practice is a prerequisite for this intimate experience.

Arm Balances and Inversions Workshop.  Level 1

Saturday July 14; 2:00-4:00pm. In this workshop, we will cover the basics of balancing on your hands and getting upside-down. The focus will be on developing the fundamentals to safely and confidently practice crow pose, headstands, and handstands. This workshop is perfect for beginner/intermediate students who want to advance their practice, and also for more advanced students and teachers who want to learn new teaching techniques.

Floating on Breath Yoga Workshop

Sunday July 15; 12:30-2:30pm. Learn to float using the Ashtanga Tristana: Breath, Bandha, and Drishti. This workshop will cover the basics of floating: Pranayama/Breath work, Bandhas/Core control, and Focus/Meditation practices. Using the discipline of Ashtanga Yoga, we will cultivate strength and grace in the movements, building to a pike press handstand and a floating Jedi Sun Salutation. All levels welcome.

Arm Balances and Inversions Workshop.  Level 2

Sunday July 15; 3:30-5:30pm. In this workshop, we will dive deeper into the trickier elements of inverting: handstand pressing, floating in sun salutations, transitioning in and out of arm balances, and many more drills to take with you to your home practice. Prerequisites: a comfortable crow pose, some experience upside-down, and/or the Level 1 workshop on Saturday.
