Your Yoga Program will be developed for you by Paul Roberts.  It will feature the key asanas (poses) that your body needs to move better.  Our Private Yoga Lessons focus on key movement areas such as hip and back mobility, standing balances, arm and core strength.

Foundation of Yoga: Paul’s yoga practice comes from studying Astanga, Bikram, Iyengar, Rocket, and Viniyoga.  He utilizes the style and methodology of Yoga that is best suited for your individual needs.

Customized Yoga: We offer 100% individualized yoga flows for our private yoga lessons. In most yoga studios, you have to conform to a scripted program.  If you can’t do a posture, you just sit out the pose or do some very easy version of it. Everyone has different amounts of flexibility and strength — shouldn’t your yoga program reflect that?  We think so, which is why we customize each session to improve your weaknesses.  The result… faster improvements and a safer practice.  Because our private yoga lessons are designed for your unique goals, some of the flows might focus on backbends or handstands.  We do everything from gentle flows to the drenched in sweat level intensity.  Private Yoga Lessons can be used to support long-distance running.  It’s also useful for providing mobility for powerlifting or Olympic lifting.  Unlike other yoga teachers in Alexandria VA, our private yoga lessons are taught by certified personal trainers who also practice yoga.

    Lost 61 Pounds with Yoga

    I have been training with Paul for over 18 months now; it has dramatically changed my life. It is difficult to fully describe how highly I rate Paul both professionally and personally. To date, I have lost 61 pounds and still going strong. The achievement so far is a testament to Paul’s approach to health and fitness. His techniques used are especially unique and tailored to his clients individually.

    His customized approach as a personal trainer is what really sets him apart. Paul must have 150 clients, but he trains all of his employees (who are amazing personal trainers in their own right) on how to correctly and methodically implement the programs he writes. This way even if I can’t get on Paul’s schedule, I can work with Max, Brian, Fabian, etc.

    As far as results, Paul’s programming has greatly assisted and improved my range of movement and flexibility. This is very important as you want to be at your peak when training so that you can push yourself to the limits. Having developed my fitness levels, I have began to take part in regular power lifting competitions. This system needs to be a part of your training program; it will make you stronger and allow you to reach your potential.
