Trail Run at Scotts Run

Our trail run on September 17; 5:00-7:00 PM features a beginner and intermediate level trail.  It’s a brand new map, so be prepared for rocky terrain, rock scrambles, stream crossings, and more.  Both trails start and end at the same location.  After the run, everyone is invited to join us for some food and brew at the nearby Founding Farmers Restaurant.

Trail Details

Our trail run on September 17; 5:00-7:00 PM features a beginner and intermediate level trail.  It’s a brand new map, so be prepared for rocky terrain, rock scrambles, stream crossings, and more.  Both trails start and end at the same location.  After the run, everyone is invited to join us for some food and brew at the nearby Founding Farmers Restaurant.

Beginner Level Trail Run: 4.62 Miles.  370 Feet Elevation.  This is an out and back style trail so you can shorten it if you need to.

Intermediate Level Trail Run: 8.62 Miles. 800 Feet Elevation.  Loop Trail that can be shortened if need be.

Running Pace:

Some people run fast, some people run slow, some people run/walk.  All options are OK.

What Trailing Running Shoes / Trail Gear Do I Need?

We’ve done all the work for you.  We’ve rounded up the best trail running shoes on the market.  Links and brand names will be provided to you after your RSVP.

Need Gu Energy Gel, Cliff Energy Blocks, or Electrolytes?

Options include:

  • SSF BCAA
  • SSF Preworkout
  • Gu Energy Gel
  • Cliff Energy Block
  • Nuun Electrolytes

Just let us know in the checkout comments, what you would like and how many of each.  They are $3 each.  (We are working online ordering.)  For BCAAs, Preworkout, and Electrolytes, they come in a small water bottle.

Paul is bringing for himself: two Gu Packs, one Energy Block, one Preworkout, One BCAAs, and One Electrolyte.

Hydration Vest or Hydration Belt

Since we’ll be running for around 2 hours, you’ll need a hydration belt or hydration vest for the run.  You’ll probably want to bring some electrolytes and running gels too.  If you don’t have a hydration vest, we have Nathan Brand Running Vests with Water Bladders you can borrow.  The rental Fee for Hydration Vest, electrolytes, and energy blocks is $20 (the vest will be prefilled and we’ll handle cleaning & disinfection for you.)

Carpooling

If you need a carpool, be sure to email us at least a day before the event so that we can help you get a ride.

Returns and Exchanges

If you decide that you don’t want to participate in this event or change your mind, etc., just let us know within 48 hours of your purchase.  We’ll provide you a store credit that you can use towards any future event you like.
