Core power with the Soft Medicine Ball
Developing explosive core strength through partner exercises using the Dynamax Soft Medicine Ball. A fun and exciting way to workout. Kids love this type of workout, but it is plenty effective for adults when done correctly.
This unique form of exercise helps develop explosive power that really useful for sports like golf, football, soccer, tennis, etc.
Conversely, the Dynamax ball is also really effective for adults over 50 because the movements are very functional and scalable. As people register for the event, we’ll see which demographic they fit into (young adult, parent, older adult), and final decisions on the topic of the presentation will be posted based on who is interested in attending. Eating to Low Inflammation
Internal inflammation is very critical to health, because the higher the average internal inflammation, the longer it will take to recover from working out, injuries, and illnesses. Higher inflammation levels also caused lack of injury, and are associated with outbreaks of some chronic illnesses (like fibromyalgia.) Internal inflammation levels are indicator of progress speed for fitness, so Sand & Steel has a special scale designed to measure internal inflammation levels.
There are four key ways to lowering inflammation:
- Rx and OTC (we’ll touch on these briefly – but medications won’t be the primary aim of the presentation)
- Nutrition imbalances that cause inflammation
- Foods that naturally lower inflammation and how much to eat.
- Foods that are rumored to lower inflammation, but don’t have any clinical data to back up the lofty claims.
