Personal Trainer Job: Head Coach Day M-TH 6AM – 9AM Plus Saturdays 8AM – 2PM.  Alexandria VA
Personal Trainer Job: Head Coach Night M-TH 4PM – 8PM Plus Saturdays 8AM – 2PM Alexandria VA

Benefits:

We have medical and certification reimbursement available for Tier II trainers.

Compensation:

You’ll be paid a competitive hourly rate depending on your experience.

A little bit about how things work at our gym

Personal Trainers are employees, and will work on various projects when they’re not training. The projects could be as simple as equipment maintenance, or as complicated as helping to create a video to go along with a blog post. You will be successful, and get more work hours, at our gym if you can effectively prioritize your work, have excellent time management skills, complete projects on time, and communicate well.

General Responsibilities of a Personal Training Job

Help clients meet health & fitness goals through the programs, and methods, developed at Sand & Steel
-Provide fun and safe exercise environment to motivate clients
-Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with, and among, members to encourage a community feel
-Promote Sand & Steel events, promotions, programs, products, and services to current & prospective clients
-Clean and organize gym after each session and keep equipment in good working condition
-Provide front desk duties as needed: answering phone, and providing in-person assistance to clients and staff: checking in, scheduling, purchasing, etc
-Covering for other trainers as needed for PT and classes
-Providing Assistance to Management with marketing projects
-Comfortable with Mac and PC computers

Requirements for hire:

-CPR AED
-Professional Liability Insurance
-Must be able to work in the United States
-High School Diploma or GED

CrossFit Coach

Teach 7:00PM Tuesday/Thursday Classes or 10:00AM Saturday

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]At Sand & Steel we have 1 person, 2 person, and 6 person CrossFit Classes.  Since we are in Old Town, we have a smaller space for doing CrossFit, but we have a great variety of equipment, plus all the latest gear.  All CrossFit Coaches teach regular personal training sessions in accordance with the XT60 system.
