“Fitness has always been a focal point in my life and led to my decision to become a certified personal trainer. Around 2011, my supervisor challenged all of the store managers to a New Year’s resolution, a weight loss challenge. This process was less of an abrupt change and more of a development of healthy patterns.  One of my interests within the field of exercise has been competitive running. To date, I have completed the Spartan Race, Savage Race, the Warrior Dash and the Rivergate 10 Miler. I aspire to one day be a Crossfit competitor, a sponsored obstacle course runner, and to make my mark in the fitness industry.
